Franziska Schirrmacher, a PhD student at the lab, was a panelist at Siblers DenkRäume at the Deutsches Museum Nürnberg on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Together with Bernd Sibler, Minister of Science, and Markus Kaiser, Professor at TH Nürnberg, she talked about using artificial intelligence (AI) in the media. The topics have revolved around AI in journalism and image recognition. In addition, questions about AI in our everyday life were answered. For example, Professor Kaiser brought texts written by AI and humans to show how good AI has become. Franziska talked about her work on license plate recognition.
