Best Student Paper Award for Jan Gruber at DFRWS APAC ’24

At the international conference DFRWS APAC 2024, Jan Gruber and Felix Freiling received the Best Student Paper Award for their article titled “The Cyber-traceological Model: A Model-based View of the Cybercriminalistic Task”. The paper is a result of Jan Gruber’s PhD research and deals with the structured translation of investigative demands to relevant traces. The work has been presented in Brisbane, Australia last week and can be found here.
